On Thursday, October 16, 2025, Vision foundation for Strategic Studies held its second discussion session under the title "Evaluating the Public Transportation Sector in Sulaymaniyah", aimed at exploring the challenges facing the sector and identifying potential opportunities for development.
‏The session brought together representatives from government institutions, the private sector, and labor unions. Participants discussed ways to improve public transportation services and develop a comprehensive plan to expand its coverage in line with the city's needs and its residents.
‏The session also examined in detail the main obstacles and violations negatively impacting public transportation and emphasized the importance of addressing these issues within an integrated strategic vision that ensures the efficiency of the traffic system and facilitates citizens' mobility.
