On the morning of Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the First International Scientific Conference on (Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability in the Developing World) commenced at Akre University, with the participation of a distinguished group of local and international researchers and experts.

‏During the conference sessions, the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies presented a peer-reviewed research paper titled (The Impact of Using Electronic Systems on the Effectiveness of Internal Control Systems), authored by Dr. Nabard Karim and Mrs.Sharo Nawroz.

‏In his opening remarks, Dr. Aram Mohammed, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, expressed his appreciation to the participating researchers, commending their efforts in choosing this conference as a platform to showcase their scientific work and to promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise among academic institutions.

‏The two-day conference will feature the presentation of 55 scientific papers by researchers representing six different countries, covering various topics related to the applications of artificial intelligence and its role in achieving sustainability in developing societies.
