As part of the preparations for the Iraqi parliamentary elections and working together throughout this process, a delegation from Vision Foundation visited the office of the Independent High Electoral Commission in Sulaymaniyah on October 2, 2025, where they were received by the office director, Amanj Aziz.
During the meeting, the delegation discussed the election campaign and voting days. Vision Foundation is also monitoring the process by establishing a special platform with the Strategic Center for Human Rights in Baghdad to convey accurate messages and distinguish them from false news and misinformation. This platform will be implemented in all Iraqi governorates with support from IDEA International and funding from the German Foreign Ministry.
For his part, the Director of the Sulaymaniyah Elections Office affirmed his support for Vision Foundation's work and the project. At this stage, as a partner in ensuring the integrity of the electoral process, Vision can serve as an effective observer to ensure a smooth and transparent process.
