As part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between universities and research centers and build an effective partnership, representatives of Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies visited Salahaddin University in Erbil and held discussions with the university president on areas of mutual cooperation.
The meeting, held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, focused on how academic research and strategic studies can jointly contribute to addressing the challenges and needs of society and public institutions. The two sides also discussed the importance of exchanging expertise and making use of their respective scientific and research capacities.
Both institutions emphasized that strengthening ties between universities and research centers is a key factor in advancing research that responds to the real needs of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, while also creating a platform for academics and experts to participate in dialogue and contribute to developing evidence-based solutions to current challenges.
At the conclusion of the meeting, discussions were held on several areas of potential cooperation, including conducting joint research projects, organizing scientific seminars and conferences, and establishing mechanisms to ensure sustained communication and collaboration between the two institutions.
