Strengthening cooperation between media institutions and research centers is one of the key objectives of Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies. Within this framework, journalist and Director of Westga News, Sirwan Gharib, visited the Vision Foundation and met with its officials.
At the beginning of the visit, Sirwan Gharib presented a bouquet of flowers, congratulating the Vision Foundation on its achievements and activities over the past period. During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of building a strong and sustainable relationship between media organizations and research centers, noting that such cooperation can effectively contribute to social development and the resolution of public issues.
Another part of the discussions focused on the studies, reports, and policy papers prepared by the Vision Foundation concerning the major challenges facing the city of Sulaymaniyah and the Kurdistan Region. It was also highlighted that research outputs can play an important role in supporting public policymaking, addressing societal challenges, and strengthening development and progress across the community.
