New Model of Party Politics in the Kurdistan Region Discussed

The Deputy President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) stressed the importance of research centers contributing to the resolution of societal challenges and crises through their studies and analyses, particularly in the areas of public services, economic infrastructure, and the state of political and party activities.
During a visit to Vision Foundation, Rafat Abdullah, Deputy President of the PUK, highlighted one of the foundation’s studies titled “Assessment of the Structure of Political Parties.” He emphasized that political parties in the Kurdistan Region should benefit from the study’s findings to reorganize and improve their internal affairs and institutional performance.
The meeting, attended by the President and members of Vision Foundation’s Board of Directors, also discussed the financial disputes between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad, as well as the opportunities available to the Region for developing its economic infrastructure and promoting sustainable development.
