The Vision Foundation for Strategic studies presents a roadmap for the economic development of Chamchamal District to the Kurdistan Regional Government and relevant stakeholders. The roadmap was prepared based on the outcomes of the seminar “Opportunities for the Economic Development of Chamchamal,” which was held on 7 December 2025 in cooperation with Charmo University.
The roadmap focuses on the strategic development of the sectors of industry, trade, agriculture, investment, tourism, and employment opportunities. At the same time, it takes into account the flood disaster that affected Chamchamal District and identifies practical solutions to reduce damages, address existing challenges, and support the reconstruction of all sectors.
Within the framework of the Strategic Plan 2030 project, the Vision Foundation conducts studies on the needs of all districts in the Kurdistan Region and presents them as roadmaps and policy papers to relevant authorities for implementation and effective utilization.
