Vision Foundation Meets with Leader of the Kurdistan Islamic Movement

On June 4, 2024, a delegation from the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies met with Irfan Ali Abdul Aziz, leader of the Kurdistan Islamic Movement, alongside several key figures from the movement.
The discussions focused on the challenges and opportunities facing civil society and the pivotal role of civic institutions in fostering community engagement. Participants also examined recent developments in Türkiye’s peace process, ongoing events and transformations in Syria, and the implications of these regional dynamics for both the Kurdistan Region and Iraq as a whole.
