On Saturday, April 10, 2025, the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies VFSS organized a specialized symposium in Sulaymaniyah titled "Strategic Assessment of the Transportation Sector and Reorganization of Public Traffic in Sulaymaniyah." The event brought together representatives from relevant government bodies, investment companies, academic institutions, and sector specialists.
The event focused on the key challenges facing the public transportation system in the city, offering a range of practical recommendations to improve traffic infrastructure and enhance public transit services.
The second part of the event featured an open discussion between speakers and attendees, enriching the dialogue and expanding the scope of proposed solutions.
VFSS has conducted a comprehensive study on the current state of public transportation in Sulaymaniyah. The findings and recommendations will be submitted to the Ministry of Transport and relevant stakeholders to support ongoing reform efforts and elevate the quality of services for citizens.
