The Kurdistan Women's Union visited the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies, where they discussed joint and collaborative work on women's issues.
During the visit, which took place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, the Kurdistan Women's Union presented the steps and activities of their organization, discussing their future plans, projects, and activities, as well as the Union's new strategy and plan.
The Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies emphasized the important role of women in the foundation's work, most notably the creation of a new board within the foundation (the Social Board) as the Vision Foundation's latest initiative, which is supervised by a woman, Professor Dr. Zhia Abbas.
The Vision Foundation deemed it necessary for both sides to coordinate and cooperate on issues that require consultation, deeper engagement, and more precise and solid planning, so that both parties can work in a more institutionalized manner during this phase on issues that better serve women.
The role of the Kurdistan Women's Union in the past, present, and future was highlighted by the Vision Foundation. The Union considered coordination and joint work with the Vision Foundation to be of great importance, and both sides agreed to have joint plans and projects together in the future.
