Zuhair Al-Jazairi, an experienced Iraqi writer and novelist, and Rahman Gharib, coordinator of the Metro Center, visited Vision Foundation, where they discussed several important topics.
The visit took place today, Tuesday, March 17, 2026. At the beginning of the meeting, members of the Board of Directors of Vision Organization for Strategic Studies presented an overview of the organization’s work, activities, and publications, as well as its goals and aspirations to serve the Kurdistan Region and the wider area.
During part of the discussions, the current situation in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq was addressed in light of the ongoing tensions in the Middle East. The internal situation in Eastern Kurdistan was also discussed.
Reference was also made to the risks facing the region, along with the necessary steps that should be taken to protect the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
