This project emerged as a response to the wave of misinformation spread during elections. Its primary goal was to protect voter awareness and prevent the distortion of public opinion through political propaganda.

Implementation Period

September 25, 2025, to November 30, 2025. This period was the most critical phase of the democratic process in Iraq last year. During this time, the project closely monitored all narratives aimed at targeting public trust in the ballot boxes.

  • Public Awareness: Disseminating educational messages to help citizens identify misleading news.
  • Fact-Checking: Rapidly tracking social media rumours that confuse citizens.
  • Press Conferences: Presenting facts to the media to prevent the further spread of misinformation.
  • Resource Provision: Serving as a reliable information source for journalists and election observers.

Statistics and Results

According to the collected data, the project successfully created a significant impact:

  • Reach: Exceeded 225,000 views across all platforms.
  • Content: Published 197 unique posts to clarify facts.
  • Engagement: Generated thousands of interactions (likes, comments, and shares), reflecting high public interest.
