With the participation of a selected group of company owners and representatives, investors, economic experts, and bank representatives, a special roundtable was held to discuss the transition from cash payments to electronic payments, during which the obstacles and challenges facing this process were highlighted.

The roundtable focused on presenting the problems faced by large and small companies, investors, and banks in their electronic transactions, and efforts were made to reach solutions by addressing these challenges.

During the discussions, the benefits of the electronic payment system were highlighted in terms of facilitating citizens’ daily lives and companies’ operations. At the same time, the barriers resulting from the lack of trust among banks, citizens, and the government regarding the disbursement of funds were discussed.

The roundtable was held today, 23/12/2025, at the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies. Solutions will be developed within the framework of a policy paper, and the outcomes will be directed to the relevant stakeholders.
