Although efforts to develop the education sector are ongoing, the results have not been sufficient, and challenges still hinder the progress of education and learning in the Kurdistan Region. In response, Vision Foundation has presented a set of steps and solutions in a policy paper that can play an important role in advancing education and learning in the region.
Through this policy paper, Vision has attempted to answer a key question: how can an education system be built that both preserves our cultural values and keeps pace with scientific and technological advancements?
This policy paper includes several requirements addressed to relevant stakeholders, through which the education and learning sector can be significantly improved and moved away from the traditional and outdated system that has been in place until now.
At the beginning of last month, Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies held the third session of the “Open Vision” project focused on the education sector. Several professionals and academics participated, discussing the challenges facing the education sector and presenting proposals for solutions. The outcomes of this seminar have now been compiled into a policy paper and directed to the relevant authorities.
