Established in 2024, the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies is an independent research center founded by academics, journalists, and thinkers. It aims to promote stability, democracy, and prosperity in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq through evidence-based research, inclusive dialogue, and strategic policy engagement.

Vision

We envision a future where the Kurdistan Region and Iraq thrive through strong governance, gender equality, active youth engagement, and environmental sustainability. As a catalyst for positive change, the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies (VFSS) aims to shape policy through evidence-based research, build strategic partnerships, and contribute to a just, inclusive, and prosperous tomorrow for all.

Mission

* Promoting the citizen participation in decision-making in order to work for good governance.
* Conducting research in the political, legal, economic, and social fields and preparing strategic plans to participate in the development of the country.
* Conducting constructive dialogues to study the problems of society.
* Researching and analyzing the relationship between the executive, legislative, and judicial authorities, as well as the relationship between the Iraqi federal government, the Kurdistan Regional Government, and the governorates.
* Research in the fields of environment and climate change.
