MEED Foundation, the College of Environmental Sciences at the University of Sulaimani, and the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at advancing agricultural and environmental development in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

The MoU was signed on May 20, 2025, at the MEED Foundation office in Sulaymaniyah by Mr. Amanj Shawkat Mushir, Board Director of MEED Foundation; Dr. Emad Omer Hama-Ali, Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences; and Mr. Adnan Osman, President of Vision Foundation.

This partnership represents a significant step toward promoting sustainable agriculture, enhancing economic resilience for local communities, and fostering environmental innovation in both the Kurdistan Region and Iraq as a whole.

The three organizations will combine their resources and expertise in economic and sustainable development, environmental research, and legislative policy to drive forward modern techniques and technologies in the agricultural sector.
