On Saturday, May 10, 2025, the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies VFSS convened a specialized research seminar examining the organizational structure and decision-making bodies of political parties, as part of its ongoing series of in-depth policy forums.

Under the theme “Legal Aspects of Political Parties under Iraqi Federal and Kurdistan Regional Legislation,” the event brought together senior party officials, institutional representatives, legal experts, and political scientists.

Hosted in the Vision Foundation’s auditorium, the seminar participants analyzed current legislative challenges confronting political parties and proposed a set of actionable recommendations. These insights will inform the foundation’s forthcoming research and guide the development of a robust legal framework to strengthen party life across the region.
