As part of its efforts to strengthen both domestic and international partnerships and broaden the scope of its work globally, the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies held discussions with the Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government on a number of issues of mutual interest.
On Monday, June 8, 2026, Daban Shadala, Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Relations, visited the Vision Foundation. During the meeting, both sides engaged in extensive discussions on the role and importance of civil society organizations, ways to support their development, and mechanisms for enhancing joint cooperation in serving the public interest.
Another part of the discussions focused on the Vision Foundation’s future plans, including expanding its activities beyond Iraq and establishing a network of partnerships with international institutions and research centers.
The Vision Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with research centers, think tanks, and international partners in the coming phase, with the aim of advancing research quality, promoting dialogue, and increasing the Foundation’s impact across the Kurdistan Region and the wider region.
