Yesterday, Saturday, 14/2/2026, a delegation from the Kurdish Studies Center, consisting of Riha Rohavi Oğlu, Director of the center, and Roj Girason, head of the Rewest Research Center, paid a visit to the Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies. During the visit, they discussed the studies and projects their center has carried out in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan concerning the Kurdish issue and its needs within Turkey in terms of language, geography, education, and the peace process.
During the discussion, the delegation presented the studies they had conducted, particularly regarding the Kurdish national issue in Turkey, and announced their plan to conduct similar research on the same issue in Southern Kurdistan, Syria, and the diaspora. They also explained that the data they collect on the Kurdish issue in Turkey is submitted to the Turkish Chamber of Commerce with the aim of benefiting Kurdish regions.
They further stated that they are currently working on the Kurdish language in Turkey to determine the rate of its usage and the language’s needs in the country. They have prepared a project and simultaneously collected comprehensive data on Kurds in Turkey, and they intend to expand their work more broadly in the future.
For its part, the Vision Foundation presented its projects related to the Kurdistan Region and youth, as well as projects aimed at developing the region, and confirmed its readiness for any cooperation that serves the Kurdish issue and its advancement.
