As part of strengthening partnerships with academic institutions, Vision Foundation for Strategic Studies signed a memorandum of understanding with Garmian Polytechnic University on the morning of Monday, 4/8/2025.
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of the president and a number of professors from Garmian Polytechnic University, alongside the president and board members of Vision, with the aim of promoting coordination and joint collaboration in research across various topics.
Adnan Osman, President of Vision Foundation, emphasized that a key part of the foundation’s strategic plan is building relationships with universities and academic centers, and within that framework, carrying out joint projects is one of our top priorities.
Garmian Polytechnic University is the fourth technical university in the Kurdistan Region, established in 2023. It has two main campuses in Kalar and Kifri, currently comprises 16 academic departments, with nearly 2,000 students and 650 staff and faculty members. Its departments are mostly focused on serving and developing the labor market and private sector.
